Red Snapper is currently seeking a qualified Probation Officer. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced PO, including those who may have left the service in recent years. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of people on probation, including those assessed as high or very high risk. The role will involve assessment, risk management, report writing, court liaison, and inter-agency working. This is an on-site role requiring regular attendance at the office and in-person contact with service users, partner agencies, and courts. Complete assessments and produce high-quality written reports for courts, the Parole Board, and other agencies. Attend and contribute to key risk and safeguarding forums such as MAPPA and MARAC. Deliver or co-facilitate accredited programmes (where appropriate). Use case management systems to record interventions, progress, and risk updates accurately and promptly.
