With a strong pipeline of both new build and refurbishment work, we are looking to expand our commercial team by appointing a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our Brighouse office.The Role:As Quantity Surveyor, you will take a key role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple social housing schemes, including both new builds and refurbishments. You will work closely with our project managers and site teams to ensure delivery is on time, to budget, and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:Preparation and analysis of costings for tenders and projectsBudget control, cost forecasting, and cash flow reportingMeasurement and valuation of works including subcontractor packagesManagement of subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accountsLiaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project efficiencyIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesPreparation of monthly CVRs and financial reportsRequirements:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or housing sectorBackground in social housing projects (new build and/or refurbishment) preferredExcellent understanding of JCT contracts and cost managementStrong communication and negotiation skillsFull UK Driving LicenceWhat We Offer:Competitive salary packageCar allowance or company vehiclePension scheme and private healthcare optionsOngoing professional development and trainingFriendly and supportive working environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
