Job Description: 3rd line service desk engineerLocation: Borehamwood( Hybrid)Hours: Mon Fri - 8-5pmDuration: PermanentSalary: 40-45k DOERole Description:This is a full-time on-site role located in Borehamwood for a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer. As part of the service desk team, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support for client issues that have been escalated by the 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers. You will work with a variety of technologies and join our friendly, supportive team as a key member of the Service Desk. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing IT infrastructure, cloud, hardware, software, and networking systems for clients.Qualifications· A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience· Knowledge of Windows Server Platforms, Virtualisation technologies, Backup solutions, Networking technologies (LAN, WAN, and WLAN), Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS), Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and Terminal Services· Experience with operating systems including Windows Server 2012+ and Windows 10· Experience with PowerShell and scripting languages is a plus.· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical ind...
