What the Job Involves As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for loading bins onto dustcarts and ensuring the cleanliness of commercial sites as directed. Your day will include collecting and removing bulk and bagged refuse, attending training sessions, and adopting new procedures. You''ll clean and maintain equipment, secure cleaning supplies, and assist the driver in cleaning the vehicle regularly. You are expected to work under variable weather conditions and adhere to Health and Safety regulations while operating within Council guidelines. Flexibility is essential as you might work beyond usual hours to ensure all collections are completed.
