As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for delivering safety and environmental engineering support across the full system lifecycle. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure that safety requirements are met, and your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our systems. If you have a strong background in safety engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you.Required SkillsProven experience in safety engineering within the defence sector or other safety-critical industriesStrong understanding of relevant safety regulations and standardsProficiency in safety analysis techniques and tools (e.g. HAZOP, FMEA, FTA)Familiarity with safety lifecycle management and systems engineering principlesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamNice to Have SkillsExperience with safety case development and managementKnowledge of industry-specific safety standards (e.g. DEF STAN 00-056, IEC 61508)Familiarity with IBM DOORS and other safety management toolsExperience with project planning and bid development from a safety perspectivePreferred Education and ExperienceDegree in Engineering, Safety, or a related degreeSC Cleared (or eligible)Other RequirementsSole British Nationality3 days per week on site in BristolTPBN1_UKTJ
