Are you registered with SWE?Adult Social Worker Role PurposeTo provide a high quality and effective social work service, which responds to the needs of people with lived experiences with care and support needsCompletionofassessments and support plans in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014 and reflects a strengths-based approachAdult Social Worker Role SummaryDemonstrable ability work with people with lived experiences, recognising the councils Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policy.Completion of strengths-based Care Act and Mental Capacity assessments in a timely manner.Ability to prioritise work under pressure, adapt their priorities to changes in demand and deliver to agreed deadlines.Completion of person-centred support plans that reflect the expressed wishes of people with lived experiences, and/or their advocates.Contribute to the prevention ofrisk of harm to maximise the safety and wellbeing of people with lived experiences.Adult Social Worker Knowledge requirementsMust hold a qualification in social workGood demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.Current Social Work England registrationHave an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)Knowledge of social work models and interventions including strengths based practice modelsKnowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needWhy Work with Pertemps?When you work as a locum with us, you can expect:?
