You will be given all the tools and exposure to build a successful career in the industry. Throughout your journey, you will work closely with the Service Desk Manager and the wider IT team. As well as the in-house support, you will also work alongside a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you with industry expert knowledge throughout your time on the apprenticeship.In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.A Typical Day in the Job:Install, fix and configure workstations and laptops as requiredInstall and configure software on devicesArrange courier and delivery timescales as neededEnsure comms room procedural documentation and tasks are adhered to and kept up to dateMaintain comms room order and organisationAssist other team members with ad-hoc requests as requiredLiaising with 3rd parties for repairs and resolveYou will be using ticketing system AutotaskFull training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.Salary, Hours & Benefits:16,000 per annumMonday to Friday 9am-5:30pm1 hour lunch25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysGym membershipCompany pension schemePrivate healthcareDesired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systemsUnderstanding of Microsoft Active Directory would be beneficialBasic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure servicesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalA passion for IT and TechnologyGrade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE MathsThis Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments.
