Social network you want to login/join with:Post Transaction Specialist (Consultant / Senior Consultant), Londoncol-narrow-leftClient:Location:London, United KingdomJob Category:Other-EU work permit required:Yescol-narrow-rightJob Reference:2701c027567aJob Views:4Posted:29.06.2025Expiry Date:13.08.2025col-wideJob Description:What will you be doing?Our clients are a mixture of existing LCP clients, and clients with incumbent advisers seeking LCP’s independent de-risking expertise to meet their strategic objectives.Working on a variety of projects to assist schemes as they navigate the move from completing a buy-in transaction, to buy-out and ultimate wind-upBuild relationships with your clients, their advisers and insurers to ensure a smooth and successful transition to buy-out and wind-up, actively project managing the process to ensure it progresses in a timely fashion, giving peace of mind that the necessary steps have been undertaken and finding pragmatic solutions to any issues that ariseUtilising your project management skills, depth of experience and collaborative approach, you will support clients as they move their schemes to ultimate wind-up within their desired timescalesContribute to the strategy of the wider team, attend networking events/conferences and contribute to new business tendersWhat skills, qualities and experience are we looking for?Demonstrable experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity providerProven experience of insurer post transaction processes and wider aspects of pension scheme wind-upsExcellent UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements around wind-upsExcellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed project plans and drive forward completion of tasks against timescalesAbility to establish strong collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including other advisers, insurers, trustee boards and sponsoring employersExcellent communication skills, both written and oralExperience in leading and delivering presentations at client meetingsProactive and solutions-driven approach and ready to ‘hit the ground running’Capable of strategic thinking and suggesting solutions, whilst also recognising potential risks and issuesEnjoy taking an active role to guarantee client satisfaction for the duration of projects and have a willingness to foster new client relationshipsEvidence of overseeing financial aspects and managing risks associated with projectsExperience of new business tenders is desirableDedication to achieving client satisfaction, while also considering the requirements of the businessDesire to develop, coach and mentor junior team membersWhat’s in it for you?Take a look at our and Career storiespages to see why our people love being here!
