The Senior Crew Planner is required to respond to change, ensuring optimal efficiency of both planned and unplanned scheduling. You provide support to team members in managing unplanned activity and proactively escalating to line manager and stakeholders.You are required to build and create best practice across the brand operations, working with peers to ensure that their team are operating to the required standard. You identify areas of improvement, efficiency opportunities and imbed through regular training and supporting to develop consistency amongst the crew planning community. Build and maintain effective relationships with Stakeholders, to drive best business outcomes.Takes accountability for planning efficiency for their area, ensuring that teams are making cost effective decisions that balance crew experience with business performance.Managing a team, a people leader who provides opportunities for professional development for their team members.This pivotal role will involve:Team Management – provide ongoing performance management, development opportunities and support to your team whilst ensuring delivery of daily operational activityShip & Shore Stakeholder Relations - providing a professional and optimal partnership with key Stakeholders both ship and shore and Global Talent Partners. Ensuring optimum business outcomes with effective collaboration and challenge.Accountability - accountable for managing utilisation, cost control, onboard team strength, Table of personnel (TOP) adherence. ensure relevant risks are escalated timely to the Crew Planning Manager and stakeholders.Relationship Management – build and maintain key relationships with shore and fleet stakeholdersCrew Experience – ensuring crew members wellbeing is fundamental for our decision making and our tone of voice reflects our Culture Essentials.This role is positioned at CUK09 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time 13-month fixed term basis starting in September 2025.
