Clerkenwell Health specialises in supporting the Mental Health and CNS (Central Nervous System) space, with a strong focus on psychedelic drug development.The RoleWe’re looking for a Junior Therapist to join our growing therapy team at Clerkenwell Health. You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality psychological and psychedelic-assisted therapies across a range of cutting-edge clinical trials. Working closely with senior therapists, clinical staff, and trial teams, you’ll contribute to the safe and effective delivery of care and support innovative research in mental health.As a Junior Therapist, you will receive dedicated training and supervision while gaining hands-on experience in the implementation of clinical trial protocols, therapeutic delivery, and qualitative research processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health, who brings clinical experience and a commitment to learning in a dynamic and supportive environment.What will the role entail?Delivering therapy and psychological support in accordance with trial protocols and treatment manualsSupporting the development and maintenance of research documentation including consent forms, case report forms, and therapy notesParticipating in training and supervision activities to ensure consistency and quality across trial sitesContributing to participant recruitment, screening, and session schedulingEngaging in regular reflective practice, supervision, and continuing professional developmentCollaborating with clinical and research staff to uphold high standards of participant careEnsuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, data protection regulations, and Clerkenwell’s SOPsMaintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, participant progress, and clinical notesSupporting qualitative research activities and assisting with data collectionContributing to the ongoing development of therapy manuals, training materials, and internal processesParticipating in audits and inspections, supporting implementation of any quality improvement actionsAssisting with training delivery for colleagues, trainees, and support staff where appropriateAdhering to all mandatory training and professional standards as required by Clerkenwell and regulatory bodiesWhat will you need to succeed?Core professional healthcare qualification (e.g. psychologist, counsellor, therapist, nurse, medical doctor)Registration with a relevant professional healthcare regulatory bodyPrevious experience working in a clinical or clinical research settingStrong understanding of professional ethics and boundaries within therapeutic contextsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage sensitively with trial participants and multidisciplinary teamsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other professional IT systemsCommitment to learning and professional development, with a proactive and reflective approachExperience in CNS or mental health settings is desirable but not essentialIs this the role for you?At Clerkenwell Health, our core values are Compassion, Collaboration, Innovation, and Integrity.
