Head of Treasury - Salary -Up to £75k per annumAs part of Marston's strategy to achieve market-beating revenue growth, sustained EBITDA margin expansion and £50m+ recurring free cash flow in the next 5 years, Marston's are recruiting for a Head of Treasury to report into the Director of Treasury within our Finance function.The Treasury department is part of the wider finance team and its primary function is to ensure the business maintains sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations alongside an optimised and cost-effective debt structure. This role demands exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse group of debt stakeholders, including banks, noteholders, rating agencies, and trustees, each with their own specific requirements.While prior treasury experience is beneficial, it is not essential for this role. What matters more is a willingness to learn and develop new ideas to advance the department.This is an agile role, with an expectation to work from our offices in Wolverhampton for up to 3 days a week.In this role you'llHelp lead the Treasury and Cash functions Support the Director of Treasury on strategic treasury and financing projects; including deputising at key stakeholder meetings and operational projects to improve service delivery Covenant management and reporting on debt facilities Cashflow, working capital and finance cost forecasting across both the short and medium term Bank and debt holder relationship management, including the exploration of new bank products and services Ownership of group financial authority limits and internal treasury policy Collaborate across the wider finance team to support and advance internal treasury reporting and forecasting Develop strong working relationships with key finance and operations stakeholders across the business Support the period-end accounting process and management reporting Work directly with the Cash Operations and Ledgers teams to drive efficiencies and maximise liquidity Coordinate with both the internal audit function and the external auditors What we're looking for:Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE A clear and confident communicator who can understand and respect the perspective of others to foster a sense of connection and trust A willingness and passion to learn and inspire others Proven ability of working under pressure; producing timely and accurate information to meet key deadlines Experience in handling and overseeing complex, multi-tiered relationships Strategic thinker with a leadership mentality and strong emotional intelligence Strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret and explain financial data to non-financial colleagues What you get from us- At Marston's we put our people first, which is why we offer real benefits alongside the expected, these include: • Entry into our company bonus scheme with the opportunity to earn up to 20% of salary • A competitive car allowance of £8,500 per annum • Apprenticeship programmes- offering training & development at any stage of your career • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave (Subject to 26 weeks service at 15 weeks prior to EWC) • 30% off in Marston's pubs and 20% off accommodation through our privilege card • Marston's Cheers Platform (discounts on many high street and online major retailers) • Share save incentive scheme • Employee assistance programme-including various wellbeing support services, a completely confidential 24/7 helpline, up to 6 counselling sessions and more online servicesCome as you are.
