As Head of Service, your responsibilities will include preparing and serving nutritious, healthy meals that residents will love. You will assist and prepare cakes for the morning tea trolley and lunchtime desserts/cakes. Demonstrating high standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene is essential. Whether maintaining food supplies, fridge/freezer temperatures, training new staff on equipment, or cleaning spills, resident well-being will always be your priority. HC-One is looking for someone with kitchen experience who is familiar with The Food Safety Act 1990, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, RIDDOR, and COSHH regulations. Strong record-keeping and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to follow recipes. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you should be considerate and kind, reflecting your natural disposition. Subject to experience and qualifications.
