Unless exempt, we encourage and support staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19.Job OverviewThis is an exciting, new opportunity to work within the Community Mental Health Service In the East.The Clinical Lead will provide expert advice, line management, clinical leadership, caseload management, supervision and training to the team and will be responsible for ensuring the consistent provision of high quality mental health care to people in secondary services in the community adult mental health settingsThe post holder will work with the senior leadership team to ensure the effective, efficient and sustained development of assessment services. The Clinical Leads will work closely with the Service Leads, Team Managers, Governance Team, Quality Lead and Operational Leads as well as our colleagues in Primary Care and Voluntary Sector services, to achieve high quality innovative care in the adult mental health settings with a focus on embedding the principles of reablement and trauma informed care.*This vacancy is open to candidate within East CMHT with CFT only*Main duties of the jobPlan, implement and evaluate individual care plans in partnership with service users, carers, and the health and social care community.Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.Work closely with families and carers where appropriate to reduce psychological distress associated with the caring roleMonitor, evaluate and action plan team members with regards to their clinical performanceWork closely with other teams within the Trust coupled with the Voluntary, Statutory, and independent sectors, implementing key success criteria for NICE regarding diagnosis, treatment, and management plans.Participate in SafeguardingProvide expert advice pertaining to complex casesResponsible for maintaining Clinical Governance StandardsWorking for our organisationWere an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
