Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.Role OverviewThe Head of Commercial Policy will play a critical leadership role in shaping, defining, and governing the commercial policy strategy across Parameta Solutions (PS). This individual will be responsible for protecting TP ICAPs intellectual property by setting clear and robust policies governing PSs commercial interactions with end-user clients, redistributors, and channel partners.This position will require strong stakeholder engagement, including gaining consensus across internal teams and presenting recommendations to the PS Executive Committee. The successful candidate will ensure the effective implementation, adoption, and ongoing development of PSs commercial policy, positioning it as a foundational element of the divisions growth and integrity.This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity and commercial strength of our offering.Role ResponsibilitiesPolicy Leadership & DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain a comprehensive and documented commercial policy framework aligned with PSs strategic objectives.Act as a subject matter expert, providing direction on commercial terms and client interaction strategies to safeguard TP ICAPs intellectual property and commercial interests.Lead on the communication and rollout of commercial policy across internal teams and external partners.Governance & ComplianceEnsure consistent adherence to commercial policy across all teams and regions; monitor compliance, identify breaches or risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact PSs commercial policy, and adapt strategy accordingly.Regularly review and analyse Management Information (MI) on policy compliance, breaches, and trends to inform continuous improvement.Stakeholder EngagementProvide expert guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring commercial policy is embedded in all relevant business processes.Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Product, and Compliance teams to ensure policies are practical, enforceable, and aligned with evolving commercial objectives.People Leadership & CultureLead by example, promoting a high-performance, values-led culture.Provide direction, motivation, and coaching to direct and indirect reports to build a high-performing, policy-aware organisation.Identify and address skills or knowledge gaps within teams through appropriate training and development opportunities.Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and ethical business conduct.Experience / CompetencesEssentialMinimum of several years experience specifically in commercial policy design, development, and implementation within financial services or market data industries.Proven track record of developing and embedding commercial policy frameworks that drive business integrity and protect IP.Deep knowledge of commercial policy issues, best practices, and compliance risks relevant to financial market data.Demonstrated and proven leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.Demonstrated experience managing and engaging teams with a focus on performance, collaboration, and alignment to business objectives.DesiredPrevious management or team leadership experience.Effective relationship builder with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex policy matters simply.Credible, personable, and capable of working across a variety of stakeholder groups and business cultures.Energetic, proactive, and resilient with a continuous improvement mindset.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying creative thinking to solve business challenges.Job Band & LevelFunction Head / 8#PARAMETANot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
