Job Description

Our client are a dynamic and growing established freight forwarding agent expanding into Ipswich, committed to delivering reliable and efficient services to our clients. We are currently seeking 2 organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerks to join our team. (basic Word/Excel knowledge). Full training provided and excellent future prospects are available. Must be able to easily commute to IP2All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Employment Terms for the Data Entry ClerkSalary: 24-26k DOE + overtimeHours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a 1-hour unpaid break)Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per weekKey Responsibilities for the Data Entry Clerk:Accurately inputting data into company systems and databases.Verifying the accuracy of data and making necessary corrections.Managing and maintaining data files and records.Performing regular data quality checks to ensure consistency and reliability.Assisting with the preparation of reports and summaries using basic Word and Excel functions.Supporting other administrative tasks as required by the team.Qualifications and Skills Required:Previous experience in data entry or a similar role is preferred but not essential.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.Ability to work independently and as part of a quiet methodical team.Good English verbal & written communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Must be able to easily commute to IP2Benefits:Paid overtime after 40 hours per week.Opportunity to develop skills within a supportive team environment.Full training provided.21 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays.UK pension scheme.TPBN1_UKTJ
