An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Solicitor to join a well-established and forward-thinking law firm. This role involves advising clients on a broad range of property-related disputes while managing your own caseload and supporting senior team members with high-value, complex litigation matters.The Firm This is a values-driven, employee-focused legal practice that takes pride in its progressive approach to staff ownership and inclusive workplace culture. Recognised for its commitment to career development, wellbeing, and social responsibility, the firm provides a comprehensive suite of benefits and a supportive environment for professional growth.Key Responsibilities:Advising individual and commercial clients on a broad range of property disputes including pre-action work, notice drafting, court proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution.Handling opposed and unopposed commercial lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, including serving section 25 and 26 notices.Dealing with break clauses, alienation, dilapidations, forfeiture, rent arrears, possession claims, and section 146 notices.Managing residential landlord and tenant disputes, including possession claims and enforcement proceedings.Bringing and defending claims under the Housing Act 2004, particularly section 214.Handling disrepair claims within residential possession cases.Engaging in business development and fostering relationships with property professionals and local agents.Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including SRA and Lexcel requirements.What We’re Looking For:A qualified Solicitor/Lawyer with at least 1 year of experience in property litigationDemonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload Practical knowledge of HMO tenancy issues and disputes involving boundaries, easements, and restrictive covenantsStrong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, with experience in interim applications and advocacyA commitment to exceptional client service with strong interpersonal and communication skillsBenefits Include:Competitive salary with annual reviewsAnnual tax-free* bonus schemeGenerous holiday allowanceEnhanced parental and sick payGroup Life Insurance (3x annual salary)Flexible and hybrid working options for experienced lawyersIf you're a dedicated Property Litigation Solicitor looking to develop your career in a people-first and values-led environment, this role could be the perfect next step.To apply, please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role
