Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Mechanical - 12 month contractSalary: £25.52 (inside)Location: DerbyMy client is a global defence and aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts they seek a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.As a Maintenance Technician you will be doing:Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasksInstallations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machinesAbility to perform alignment and geometry checksUtilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.Coordinate workload and mechanical activities with customersWork with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipmentWork to control standards and proceduresExperience and skillset - Maintenance TechnicianMUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.Good understanding of Maintenance operations and fault findingBasic IT literacy and ability to work to engineering drawings.All successful Maintenance Technicians will be contacted with 2 working days of application
