Alexander Steele are working with an established food manufacturing business in West Yorkshire who are actively recruiting for a Specification Technologist to join their technical team.Roles & ResponsibilitiesComplete and maintain finished product specifications for major UK retailers, ensuring accuracy and complianceLiaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to gather and verify informationEnsure raw material data is up to date and meets customer and legal requirementsMaintain and update internal specification databases and systemsSupport the Technical Manager with documentation for audits, product launches, and supplier approvalReview artwork and packaging to ensure legal and customer labelling complianceWork cross-functionally with NPD, process, and QA teams to support smooth product launchesKeep up to date with UK retailer policies, allergen regulations, and labelling legislationProvide technical support to the wider team when required, ensuring best practice and due diligenceOn Offer£34,000 annual salaryMonday to Friday – office hours, Friday WFH33 days annual leaveCompany pensionIf this role is of interest or you require any further information, please apply with your most up-to-date CV.
