The candidate must have experience handling Housing Disrepair files from start to end. As such the firm offers a very attractive bonus scheme with this role.The role will be on a full time, permanent basis and provides a great opportunity for good career progression and excellent professional development.Ideally you will have 12-18 months' experience of working on housing disrepair cases with strong knowledge of the housing disrepair protocol.If you have a strong litigation background personal injury fee earners who are looking to retrain into Housing will also be considered.Requirements:Qualified Solicitor or CILEX.Minimum: 12-18 months' experience of working on housing disrepair cases.Have a full understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair casesHave a full understanding of Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and Section 4 of the Defective Premises Act 1972, common law nuisance and negligenceTake a pragmatic commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to litigation/cost riskExcellent client care skillsAchieve various targets set in relation to WIP, fee income, and settlements, etcEagerness to be involved in the firm’s social media presence and writing blogs for the firm’s website.
