Employment SolicitorLocation: CardiffSalary: £45,000 + bonusEden Rose are working with a thriving, award-winning legal practice who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join and lead the growth of the Employment Law department.Role:You will be required to develop and expand our Employment Law offering by:Building and running a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment mattersHandling matters for both claimants and respondents, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, TUPE, redundancies, and employment contracts/policiesWinning new business and developing relationships with local businesses, HR consultancies, and professional networks (a strong referral base is advantageous)Undertaking marketing and business development initiatives to promote our firm-wide Employment Law servicesWorking alongside the Managing Director to implement strategic growth and performance initiativesRequirements:Applications open to qualified solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQEMust have strong experience in both contentious and advisory Employment Law mattersExperience of independently managing a full caseload from instruction to conclusionAbility to supervise and mentor junior team members, and contribute to a culture of growth and developmentDemonstrated success in business development and networkingStrong client care and communication skillsThe role is based at the Cardiff office, with a preferred minimum of 4 days in-office and 1 day remote workingThe preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ambition and commercial awareness to actively contribute to the development of the department and wider firmThis is a key leadership-track role – the preferred candidate will be expected to ultimately grow and lead the Employment Law department, with a defined career pathway to support their progression into a senior leadership position within the firmBenefits:A competitive salary of £45,000.00 pa, plus performance-based bonus structure25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Birthday LeaveCompany mobile phone, laptop + IT equipment for home workingDesignated office parking spaceIf you’re a proactive and entrepreneurial Employment Solicitor looking for a new leadership opportunity within a dynamic and supportive firm, we’d love to hear from you.
