We’re seeking a Business Development Executive to join a team and play a key role in driving growth and expansion within the plastic moulding industry. This exciting permanent opportunity, reporting directly to the Head of Sales, offers the chance to work with a well-established company renowned for delivering high-quality solutions across various industries.As a Business Development Executive, you’ll have the freedom to manage your own schedule, travel nationwide, and build relationships with new clients in a fast-paced, competitive market. You’ll be integral to shaping the future of the company’s sales strategy, meeting key targets, and ensuring our client stays ahead of the competition.About the Company:Established for over 45 years, our client is a trusted supplier of plastic components and assemblies to leading OEMs across a range of industries including agriculture, automotive, construction, off-road vehicles, and medical. Their extensive expertise in thermoset and thermoplastic moulding solutions, including painting and assembly, has earned them an excellent reputation in the UK and Europe.Key Responsibilities:Drive new business development and foster long-lasting client relationships across the UKTake full ownership of your diary, strategically planning and conducting visits to potential clientsExecute and support the company’s strategic sales plan, consistently meeting targets and expanding the client baseProvide timely, accurate visit reports and updates to ensure continuous growth and performanceCollaborate with the Head of Sales to ensure all quotes align with company costing proceduresIdentify new business opportunities that complement the company’s design and manufacturing capabilitiesManage and grow key accounts as directed, ensuring excellent service and retentionContribute to the creation and execution of a marketing strategy to support business growth and financial targetsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven track record in business development within the plastic moulding sector, with a focus on injection mouldingTechnical knowledge of tooling design and component design for plastic moulding advantageous.An understanding of polymers and injection moulding processesFamiliarity with thermoset moulding processes is advantageousExpertise in post-moulding operations, including cosmetic finishing (painting) and assembly highly advantageousAbility to prepare detailed, costed quotes in line with company policiesProficiency in CRM systems and reporting toolsA motivated, ambitious individual eager to take the next step in your careerDesirable Qualifications:Background in technical sales or business development within the plastic moulding industryIdeally educated to HND level or equivalentExperience in account planning, development, and executionStrong communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to translate sales strategies into actionFor reasons of better legibility, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (f/m/d) is avoided.
