Job Advert: Production Planner / Buyer – £40,000 - £48,000 – Crawley, West Sussex (Office-Based)A leading manufacturing company based in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer to join our operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional from a manufacturing background to take on a vital role within a fast-paced and growing business.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and manage the MRP system to ensure a smooth and continuous flow of materialsRaise and manage purchase orders with existing suppliers for production partsMaintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demandsLiaise closely with production teams to ensure the correct parts are available for the production scheduleIdentify and resolve supply chain and scheduling issues to minimise production disruptionWork cross-functionally with internal teams, including procurement, stores, and productionRequirements:Proven experience in a similar Production Planner / Buyer role within a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of MRP systemsSolid experience in raising and managing purchase ordersExcellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis)A Level qualified or qualified by experienceStrong organisational skills and attention to detailProactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple prioritiesSalary & Benefits:£40,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experienceOffice-based role, Monday to FridayLocated in Crawley, West Sussex – easily accessible from surrounding areasIf you thrive in a structured, fast-moving environment and have the experience to match, we want to hear from you.
