This position lets you split your time between working remotely and at our Southport office, giving you the best of both worlds.We’re looking for a Real Estate Solicitor to join us, working closely with a highly entrepreneurial Partner who’s involved in everything from social care and restaurants to music studios housing some big names. If you have an interest in these industries and want to get involved beyond a typical solicitor role, this could be a great fit for you!You’ll spend around 75% of your time on real estate work (landlord and tenant matters, with any development experience being a bonus) and 25% on commercial contracts, giving you a mix that keeps your day interesting.This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that also touches on renewable energy and construction, offering room to grow, learn, and work on exciting projects within a supportive, ambitious environment.Dealing with acquisitions, disposals, and ongoing management of commercial leasehold properties, including drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for leases and ancillary leasehold documentation.Dealing with acquisitions and disposals of freehold properties, including dealing with conditional agreements, overage agreements and option agreements.Dealing with property investment transactions, including portfolio acquisitions and disposals.Dealing with property due diligence on real estate finance transactionsDealing with property elements of business sales and purchasesThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of real estate law and a desire to expand their expertise within a well-regarded real estate team with the north-west.Essential Experience:Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (open-minded to PQE)Significant experience in commercial real estate matters.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to effectively manage client expectations and deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.A collaborative approach, with a willingness to work closely with team members.Exceptional attention to detail.A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent service.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of real estate matters & commercial contracts.Ensure proactive and efficient management of each case from inception to completion.Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients, as well as associated professionals, building trust, confidence and reliability.Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the market reputation of the business.Exhibit strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and creative thinking.This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to springboard their career and join a progressive and flexible environment working alongside ambitious lawyers.Working Arrangement:This position is open to both Full-time and Part-time working arrangements, if you are seeking part-time working please advise on the number of days you would like to work.You will have the flexibility to work remotely, with the expectation of dividing your time between remote working and our Southport office.We offer a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, a standard pension contribution, a discretionary bonus and an interesting & challenging caseload.To apply now, please send us your CV and cover letter to
