Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage the human resources function globally for a boutique, elite Private Equity firm. This role will be central to shaping the employee experience, driving HR strategy, and ensuring compliance across multiple regions, with a strong foundation in UK employment law and global HR best practices.Key responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver HR strategies aligned with business objectives; advise leadership on HR matters; champion DEI initiatives.Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding (UK and internationally), succession planning, and career development in collaboration with team leads.Compliance & Risk: Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation (including GDPR, equality, health 'safety), and coordinate on global HR compliance.Performance Management: Manage and enhance performance review processes, employee engagement, and productivity initiatives.Compensation & Benefits: Develop market-aligned compensation and benefits strategies; manage HR and recruitment budgets.Global HR Integration: Standardise policies across offices, support HR operations in new market entry.Operational HR Leadership: Handle onboarding/off-boarding, employee relations, policy updates, payroll coordination, training programs, visa processes, and contract review in partnership with the General Counsel and Finance team.Experience:5+ years of progressive HR experience, including in a leadership capacity.In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.Experience supporting HR functions across multiple countries is desirable.Background in financial services or investment management/private equity is a plus.Proven ability to drive cultural and organisational development.Skills & Competencies:Strong communication and interpersonal skills across global teams.Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex, multicultural environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
