Head of HRFull-time/ open to part-time (3 days per week) Salary£55,000–£65,000 per annumOur client is a mission-focused organisation set on making the world a better place. You’ll work in partnership with senior leadership to drive engagement, shape people strategy, and build effective HR policies and processes that support future ambitions. The role requires a proactive approach to HR leadership, strong prioritisation skills, and an ability to contribute to a close-knit, agile team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across the organisationProvide day-to-day HR advice and support and build robust relationships across all levelsOversee onboarding and induction processes for new staffLead the monthly payroll processDesign and support training and development initiatives, including statutory and mandatory requirementsCoordinate the annual performance and salary review processesAdvise on and help resolve employee relations mattersReview, develop, and communicate HR policies and ensure legal complianceCreate and implement a people strategy that champions engagement, inclusion, and retentionDevelop strategies for succession planning and career progressionSupport the preparation and presentation of reports and data for the executive boardHelp foster a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace cultureAbout YouDemonstrated ability to operate independently while also collaborating with key stakeholdersStrong leadership and first-class communication and relationship management skillsSound understanding of UK employment law and confident dealing with complex ER casesProven track record of driving positive organisational change and workplace culture
