Senior Buyer LeedsI am currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a retailer based in Leeds. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for buying and developing products across multiple categories. Managing your own budget, you will deliver commercially focused product ranges that meet both Departmental and Company quality targets, while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued growth in the department. As a Senior Buyer some of your duties will include;Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliersIdentify, develop & source products & ranges that achieve both brand quality standards and commercial targetsSourcing suppliers, negotiating terms and achieving best cost prices to improve marginsAnalysing sales figures to plan successful future linesEnsuring selected product lines achieve availability timeframesWorking closely with internal departments to maintain quality levels within productsPresenting reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management teamDealing and resolving escalated supplier queriesMentoring junior members of the Buying team to ensure they fulfil their individual career potentialKey requirements for the role;Proven previous experience as an Experienced Buyer/Senior Buyer within the fashion retail market.
