Employee Relations Business PartnerLocation: [Insert Location or Hybrid/Remote]Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are working in partnership with our client to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join their HR team. This is a newly created, high-profile role that offers the successful applicant a rare opportunity to truly make it their own.Reporting directly to the HR Director, you’ll take ownership of the entire employee relations agenda, with the remit to shape, lead and embed best practice across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for setting the tone and strategy for the ER function, reviewing and improving processes, building capability across the business, and providing high-level reporting and insights to the senior leadership team and Board.In addition to the strategic element, this role also involves leading a small team, so previous management or team leadership experience is essential.Key Responsibilities:Lead on employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, performance issues, and conflict resolutionProvide expert advice to managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practiceDevelop and implement employee relations strategies and frameworks that support a positive and fair working environmentReview and enhance existing ER processes, procedures and documentationProduce reports and insights for the senior management team and BoardManage and coach HR team members involved in ER caseworkCollaborate with HR colleagues, the D&I Manager, and senior leadership to ensure consistent and fair outcomesSupport the delivery of training to improve ER capability across the businessAnalyse ER trends and use data to drive proactive improvementsMonitor employee engagement and support initiatives that enhance morale and wellbeingWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience in a senior Employee Relations role with experience of setting and leading on the ER Strategy.
