Job Title:Dietitian - Adult Eating Disorder Hospital Salary:£31,000 - £46,000 per annum (DOE) Hours:Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) Location:Chelmsford, Essex Contract Type:Permanent Qualifications:HCPC Registered Dietitian with relevant clinical experienceAre you a dedicated Dietitian with a passion for supporting individuals through recovery from eating disorders? Ready to make a real impact in a supportive, well-resourced environment?Overview:Compass Associates are excited to be working with a leading independent provider of mental health care to recruit a Dietitian for a specialist inpatient unit in the Chelmsford area. This full time, permanent opportunity is ideal for a dietitian with experience in eating disorder recovery and complex mental health needs.This service supports adults experiencing a range of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma related conditions and eating disorders, with a dedicated multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, and Nurses.You will play a pivotal clinical role, helping shape nutritional plans and interventions that support medical recovery and psychological resilience.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments tailored to complex psychiatric needs Create and monitor individualised meal plans, ensuring nutritional, medical, and therapeutic goals are met Deliver 1:1 education and counselling to patients on healthy eating, relapse prevention, and recovery Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to ensure a fully integrated care approach Participate in clinical reviews, audits, and service development initiatives Support best practice by staying up to date with current evidence and guidance in dietetics and eating disorder treatmentCandidate Requirements: HCPC registration as a Dietitian(essential) Experience working in inpatient, mental health or complex care settings(essential) Experience in eating disorder care (AN, BN, BED etc.)(essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate patients Team player, comfortable collaborating in a clinical MDT environment Knowledge of trauma informed or person centred care principles Confidence in delivering both clinical and educational dietetic sessionsCompany Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday day off Free on site parking Subsidised meals on shift Enhanced maternity pay Private healthcare options & pension scheme Discounted gym, tech, and lifestyle benefits Funded CPD andsupervisions Leadership and management training pathwaysCommutable Locations: Chelmsford, Brentwood, Billericay, Witham, Basildon, Wickford, Maldon, Braintree, Ingatestone, RayleighInterview Process: 1 stage face to face interview including a panel Q&A and scenario based discussion with the Hiring Manager and another member of senior staff.Contact Details:For more information or to apply, please contact Georgia Arnold at Compass Associates: :Compass Associates is acting as a recruitment consultancy for this permanent vacancy.
