A professional nursing assistant with rotating weekends and scheduled holidays.Lunder 6 is a 22-bed adult cares unit for critically ill patients who have a range of neurological diagnoses such as neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke and spinal cord injury.Must have at least 1 year of inpatient experience within an acute care setting and able to both Day and Night full-time coverage. Full-time applicants will be highly considered for this role.ScheduleDays (7am-7pm) and Nights (7pm-7am)12-hour shifts per week.Mandatory weekend shifts every month.What do we have to Offer*?Medical, Dental and Vision insurance. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.Does this position require Patient Care?Yes.Essential Functions*Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested. Completes all documentation in the medical record as required. Interacts with patients and their families effectively. Helps patients with a number of basic hygiene tasks. This may include bathing and dressing patients, helping them use the toilet if needed, and feeding them. Assist with helping patients turn and reposition themselves in bed as needed and help them move between the bed and a wheelchair if they use one.
