Field Service Engineer - LondonJob Title:Field Service EngineerLocation:LondonThe RoleThe role, working closely with our Service and Technical Managers, will primarily involve travelling to and from existing installations to carry-out warranty repairs and servicing to NIBE’s range of Ground Source, Air Source and Exhaust Air heat pumps. All appointments are pre-arranged by our internal customer services team.What will you do?Create and maintain confidence in all NIBE Energy Systems products and services Carry out in warranty and out of warranty repair work Carry out chargeable servicing and repair work Diagnose system problems and advise accordingly Provide feedback from the field to the wider technical team in relation to any emerging issues or trends Complete electronic reports and all necessary paperwork in line with your duties with sufficient detail and within required timeframes Use the business systems in place to support activities of job role and enable accurate reporting Adhere to any health and safety policies when in the work environment Diagnose and repair the NIBE products in an efficient manner Maintain your vehicle and stock in line with company requirements Contribute as part of a wider technical and service team to achieve department objectivesWhat will you bring?Professionalism and a good work ethic, especially when on site Strong diagnostic skills and experience F Gas Qualification would be an advantage Ability and experience as a service/repair engineer in a related HVAC discipline Excellent heating system and hot/cold water system knowledge essential Refrigeration and biomass experience / knowledge, would be of benefit but not essential Electrical experience/knowledge and understanding of the difference between three phase and single phase circuits Ability to keep a van stock of parts in an efficient manner Happy working under your own initiative Ability to deal with difficult situations when on site The desire to learn new skillsWhat will be offer you?Competitive salary with paid overtime Company van 25 days annual leave Company pension scheme Private Health Insurance with Employee Assistance/Wellbeing Programme Company social events Field role based from home Business tools, including mobile phone, tablet, vehicle fuel card, hotel accommodation card and expenses float Branded workwear Comprehensive induction programme including full, job-related trainingIf you think you match this criteria and would like to apply for this position to be part of a rapidly growing and exciting business, send your CV to for the attention of Michael Dungworth Head of Technical.
