This role is essential to the continued development of our subject pathways and the delivery of outstanding outcomes for our learners.Key Responsibilities:Teach to a high standard across a range of subjects to ensure effective curriculum delivery.Lead on the development of schemes of learning for specific curriculum areas.Monitor pupil progress, identify underachievement, and implement appropriate interventions.Liaise with other OFG schools to ensure curriculum alignment and innovation.Maintain and develop curriculum area plans and stay informed on relevant changes.Deliver staff training to support pedagogical development within your subject specialism.Liaise with the exams officer to ensure accurate qualification entries.Support the development of whole-school curriculum mapping and differentiated teaching.Collaborate with SLT and therapy teams to support learners with complex needs.Ensure consistency in teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback across all pathways.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent).Experience teaching across Key Stages 25.Experience working within a SEND setting.A passion for inclusive education and supporting young people with complex needs.About UsOverton School provides specialist education for young people between the ages of 7 18.A nurturing and therapeutic setting comprising of a special school for autistic individuals, learning disabilities and other complex needs.We are located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside on the periphery of the market town of Ludlow.
