Electrical Installation Tutor Location - Liverpool Salary - Up to £43,500 We’re working with a Training Provider looking for an experienced Electrical Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to apprentices working towards Level 3 qualifications and above.You’ll play a key role in delivering both theoretical and practical learning across City & Guilds and EAL frameworks, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in the industry.What you'll be doing? Plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning content that meets curriculum standardsTeach electrical installation theory and practical elements at Level 3Mark and assess apprentice work in line with awarding body requirementsTrack learner progress, attendance, and performance; report issues as neededProvide ongoing support and guidance to apprentices throughout their learning journeyPromote safety and wellbeing in all training sessions and workshop environmentsContribute to the development of learning resources and share best practice with colleaguesLiaise professionally with employers and respond to training-related queriesSupport curriculum development and engage with inspections or audits when requiredMaintain up-to-date industry knowledge and stay current with electrical developmentsWhat we're looking for? Essential:A Level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent)Teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (e.g. Certificate in Education or equivalent)Experience teaching electrical installation (including online/blended delivery)GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (grades A–C / 9–4 or Level 2)Solid post-qualification electrical industry experienceConfident presentation and IT skillsA good understanding of the further education and apprenticeship landscapeDesirable:Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualifications (D32/33, A1, TAQA, D34, V1)Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely)Experience within the contracting or building services industry
