We're looking for an experienced Subcontract Lead to join a growing team in Rochester, Kent.What you’ll be doing:Lead end-to-end subcontract management, from requirement development to selection and negotiationManage documentation, reports, and subcontractor performance against key milestonesNegotiate contracts and resolve issues, ensuring full compliance and quality deliveryCollaborate with internal teams to maintain effective supplier interfacesIdentify risks and manage variations to mitigate impactsOccasional travel to supplier sites in the UK and overseasWhat you’ll bring: Essential:Strong background in subcontract, commercial, or project managementDemonstrated experience negotiating complex contractsProven track record of delivering major subcontract obligationsIndustry experience in complex engineering or manufacturing environmentsDesirable:Exposure to defence or aerospace sectorsRelevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. engineering, procurement, project management)Knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, or optical commoditiesWhy apply?
