This role is ideal for a passionate and hands-on practitioner who is eager to look beyond conventional exercise prescriptions and embrace a more holistic and progressive approach to therapy. This is a freelance position with flexible working hours. Evening and/or weekend availability is essential. While initially part-time, the role has the potential to develop into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Qualifications and Requirements: • A degree in Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation • Registration with a relevant professional body and valid public liability insurance • Strong hands-on skills with proven experience in sports massage techniques (essential) • Familiarity with any of the following would be desirable: – Douglas Heel’s Be Activated techniques – Thomas Myers’ Anatomy Trains – Dave O’Sullivan’s “Go-To” Therapist approach Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date patient treatment records in accordance with the standards set by relevant professional bodies. • Work independently, taking full responsibility for all aspects of patient care within your caseload. • Conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose patients’ conditions. • Develop and implement personalised treatment plans grounded in current evidence-based practice. • Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically indicated.
