Job Title:Speech & Language Therapist Banding: Band 7 Location:Hackney, Greater London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Full-time Salary Range: £54K – £60K Working Hours: Full-time We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join our esteemed client in Hackney. This role requires working in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students who are neurodivergent with diverse Speech and Language and Communication needs (SLCN). Our client’s dedicated team works collaboratively to foster an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. The warm and nurturing school supports up to 90 children and young people across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 in small classes of 6 pupils (age 7 to 17 years). Key Responsibilities In this role, you will work with all our pupils across the age range, supporting the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with communication needs. You will manage your own caseload and be expected to work flexibly, providing therapy services to pupils according to clinical need. You will actively participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, staff meetings, supervision, training, and annual appraisals, and develop the learning environment and support programme. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registration. Experience with young people with ASC needs. Supervision and training staff experience. Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field. Extensive experience in speech and language therapy services. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
