The ideal candidate will take on challenging and rewarding work involving court proceedings, permanency planning, and in-depth family assessments. You will play a crucial role in securing positive outcomes for vulnerable children by delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and assessments.Key Duties/Accountabilities Manage a complex caseload, including care proceedings and permanency planning.Prepare clear, robust reports including:Child Permanence Reports (CPRs)Annex A reportsParenting Assessments and Viability AssessmentsFinal evidence for court submissionsConduct thorough and evidence-informed risk assessments.Represent the Trust in court, demonstrating confident presentation and strong advocacy skills.Ensure timely and effective care planning in line with legislation, guidance, and best practice.Collaborate closely with internal teams, legal representatives, and external agencies to secure positive outcomes for children.Maintain up-to-date, accurate and detailed case recordings and documentation.Contribute to team development and mentoring of less experienced colleagues where appropriate.Essential Experience Required Demonstrable experience as a Senior Social Worker in a statutory children's services setting is essential.Minimum of 3–5 years' post-qualification experience working within Children’s Services is essential.Additional Information to Note Working hours: 36.50 hours per week.The role requires a DBS check.RequirementsRequirementsDemonstrable experience as a Senior Social Worker in a statutory children's services settingMinimum of 3–5 years' post-qualification experience working within Children’s ServicesQualified Social Worker (SWE registered)#J-18808-Ljbffr
