Role Overview: You will manage multiple ongoing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery within budget and time constraints. This senior role involves managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors, developing contract management strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Manage numerous projects from pre-construction to completion Oversee directly employed labour and subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery Use Microsoft Project to create and maintain work programmes and project plans Develop and implement effective contract management strategies and processes Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders Report directly to the Operations Director based at Head Office Collaborate closely with Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on budgets and time allowances Lead a team including two Contracts Managers and approximately 10 operatives Candidate Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ experience in groundworks contract management (essential) Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification Current First Aid at Work qualification Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage multi-project contracts Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and planning Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills Package: Competitive salary £60,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience Company vehicle provided Opportunity to lead a skilled team within a dynamic and growing business If you are a motivated Senior Contracts Manager with the necessary groundworks experience and the required certifications, and want to join a company with a strong reputation for quality and growth, please apply now by sending your CV toharvey.baker@.
