Job Description

A fantastic Senior Procurement Manager job based in Birmingham offers the opportunity to work with a team of talented procurement professionals to deliver excellent strategic procurement and contract advice. This procurement job includes the opportunity to provide a full procurement service from the beginning of projects to the end with one of your employer’s most important clients. There will be opportunities for international and national travel to help and manage commissions. Responsibilities and DutiesProvide clients with procurement advice on important projects Provide specialist advice to clients in all sectors about procurement strategy Manage procurement services from start to finish on large-scale construction-related projects Support the development of the company’s services to clients Provide procurement support to ensure goals are achieved at a team level Support proposal documents and bid preparation work Desired Skills and ExperienceStrong experience with developing key procurement strategies and/or documentation that complies with OJEU regulations Strong experience with contract management Experience with strategic and supply chains is essential Cross-sector experience with a strong background in procurement Experience with contract development and drafting, including terms, negotiation, and award Experience with commercial modelling SC clearance is desirable Confident and able to work independently Excellent communication, adaptability, and a determination for success Qualifications/Educational RequirementsA degree related to quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferred Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is preferred Employing Company Overview and ProfileThis leading, premium, multi-disciplinary consultancy company with offices in Birmingham works with its employees to achieve outstanding results for their clients.
