Choose a career with the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialistThe Lanes Group needs Drainage Assistants to join our Operational Teams out there on the front line, to join our growing depot operational network.About The RoleLocation: Chester Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Salary: £12.25 per hour.BenefitsEnhanced overtime rates 21 days holiday + bank holidays Life Assurance scheme Auto enrolment pension scheme.Responsibilitiesworking as part of a two-person team, assisting an experienced engineer to operate our high specification Jet/ Vac and CCTV units. Your projects will include any number of drainage related issues, both reactive and planned. Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities, within various work sectors, including industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (7.00am-4pm), being flexible is important as you may be required to start earlier due to travel.About YouYou may already have previous experience working in the drainage or water industry, but this is not essential as full training will be given. You will hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. An in date CSCS card would be an advantage but not essential. You will be expected to comply with all Group Health Safety and Environmental compliance, full Training with be provided as part of a Group Induction Training package. As The Lanes Group operate 24/7, 365 days a year, there may be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota, for which overtime rates will apply.About LanesAt the Lanes Group, we believe firmly in looking after our people and our customers.
