You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support, ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people in our service, and promoting their personal development.The role involves working on a rotating shift pattern with sleep-ins, so flexibility is essential. You will be part of a dedicated team, and we will provide full training and opportunities for career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide practical and emotional support to young people in our care Support young people with daily living tasks, budgeting, and cooking Help create and maintain a safe and supportive environment Promote independence and life skills development Build trusting relationships with young people, encouraging their engagement in education, work, and social activities Ensure young people are supported in meeting their individual care plans and achieving their goals Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to support young people's progressEssential RequirementsA minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home or youth work.
