We have a range of working patterns to suit you, get in touch to see if we can help.Overview Of The RoleThe role of the Senior Social Care Worker is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and lead by example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. The home provides residential support to nine men and women of varying ages with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. There is plenty of communal space including a large shared lounge, a dining room, kitchen and a conservatory that leads out to a safe, secure garden with a summer house. In the back garden a separate building has been adapted for sensory activities, arts and crafts, IT and computing, education and music, and also has a second lounge. A fully-equipped kitchen also allows residents to develop their food preparation and cooking skills. Elliot House is ideally situated, close to shops, pubs and local facilities, with Fleet railway station close by. It’s a lively home, with lots going on. Residents enjoy bowling, swimming, going to the cinema and the theatre, visiting social clubs and going out for meals.
