Base pay rangeWe are seeking compassionate and confidentPolish-speaking carersto support a young male client inSlough, SL1 . This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a meaningful care package, supporting a young person returning home after a spinal injury.About the Role:You’ll be supporting amale client (under 18)in his family home with personal care, mobility, and general day-to-day assistance. Our client has sustained aspinal cord injuryand will be discharged from hospital shortly. He requires ongoing support as he adjusts to life at home.Due to the nature of his care needs and the importance of effective communication, we are specifically looking forPolish-speaking carers . You must also be comfortable supporting achild(under 18). The full care plan is still being finalised, but we anticipate a mix of day and night shifts.As a carer, you will be:Assisting with personal care Supporting mobility and positioning Facilitating hoisted transfers if required (TBC) Providing emotional support and encouragement Maintaining client dignity, comfort, and safety at all times Supporting general daily activities, companionship, and wellbeing Working closely with other professionals and family members Monitoring for any changes in health or moodJob Details:Job Type:Day and night shifts️Shift Pattern:8am-8pm (Day) & 8pm-8am (Night)????Pay Rate:circa £14-£17/hourLocation:Slough, SL1 ️Driver:Not requiredWhat We’re Looking For:We are looking forprofessional, patient, and Polish-speaking carerswho are confident, calm, and compassionate. Experience working with children and/or spinal injuries is helpful but not essential. You should be comfortable building rapport with a younger client and working in a family home environment.Training & Support:We are a specialist provider ofSpinal Cord Injury and complex Neurological care , and full training will be provided to support you in this role. Previous experience with SCI is not required – we will ensure you are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills needed.This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful, one-to-one care that makes a real difference in a young person’s life.
