Working under the guidance of a Healthy Family Team Leader and alongside a multidisciplinary, inter-agency team, you'll play a vital role in promoting health and wellbeing across a defined population. This varied role involves working in settings such as schools, family hubs, and other local venues to make a real difference where it matters most. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across the week based at our Regus office location in Slough. Main duties of the jobLead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, focusing on early intervention and tailored support for children and families. Build strong relationships with schools, early years providers, and community services to deliver joined-up care. Provide proactive health education and accessible drop-in clinics within school and community settings. Support vulnerable children and young people through collaborative, multi-agency working. Undertake health assessments and identify appropriate interventions or referrals. Manage and support School Nurses and Support Staff, including delegation, supervision, and mentorship. Contribute to service improvement, embedding evidence-based practice and national guidance into daily work. Represent the service in safeguarding and multi-agency meetings, helping ensure the right support is provided at the right time.
