??Accounts Assistant ??Loughborough ??Full-Time, Permanent, Office Based - Flexi Hours ??£30,000 - £35,000 DOE Hamilton Woods is proud to be partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing company based in Loughborough, in search of a tenacious Accounts Assistant eager to contribute during an exciting period of expansion. In this varied and hands-on role, you'll take ownership of key transactional finance tasks, ensuring accuracy across our sales and purchase ledger activities. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll also help streamline processes and support month-end reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile thesales ledger(invoicing, credit notes, aged debt) Manage thepurchase ledger(supplier invoicing, statement reconciliations, payment runs) Performbank reconciliationsand resolve discrepancies Assist inmonth-end closeprocedures Postjournals, accruals, and prepayments Help preparemonthly management accounts Support budgeting andvariance analysis Contribute tocash flow forecastingand reporting Maintain accurate records inXeroand support system improvements Liaise with internal teams to improve finance processes and controls Role Requirements: Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Strong working knowledge ofXero Solid understanding of bothsales and purchase ledgerprocesses High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Exposure to or interest inmanagement accountingand financial reporting Afinance or accounting graduate , ideally studying towardsACCA, AAT, or CIMA High attention to detail and proactive in problem-solving Able to manage own workload and support a growing finance function Please apply or send your CV to#J-18808-Ljbffr
