In a nutshell We have various funding arrangements with suppliers, each presenting unique complexities in recognising, collecting, and accounting for funding efficiently. This role will support logging and collection of supplier income, acting as a key contact for the Argos buying function to support them daily and develop best practices in supplier income accounting. The job involves detailed understanding of transactions within supplier income, with the ability to communicate key issues clearly as part of the bigger picture. What you need to do Understand supplier funding tools by familiarising yourself with different funding sources and their complexities. Gain knowledge of how these tools work to assist teams and suppliers with ad hoc questions. Responsible for collating and logging funding daily, ensuring timely recording. Work with buying teams and Finance Operations to ensure timely collection of funding deals, maintaining strong cash flow. Engage regularly with buying teams, embedding yourself as a true business partner for all supplier funding matters.
