Our client is a growing nationwide financial planning and wealth advisory business which operates from over 50 offices across the UK, employing more than 700 staff.Turning over £60 million, PE-backed and with £11 billion of assets under management, it provides impartial, specialist whole market advice for individuals, corporates and trustees on pensions, retirement planning, inheritance tax planning, investments and group risk and business protection matters, often working closely with other professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Group Remuneration Assistant to join a friendly team in Newcastle.You will report to the Group Transactional Manager supporting the transactional team in reconciling revenue and related activities.Your Specific Responsibilities As Group Remuneration Assistant Will IncludeProcessing commission statements and reconciling bank accounts for business-as-usual income from the company CRM system, maintaining all necessary spreadsheetsLiaising with the UK offices to obtain statementsLogging into product provider portals to download statementsContacting providers via email/chat to obtain statementsTyping up statements from postal reports to upload to the CRMContacting providers to resolve queries via telephone and emailReview unallocated transactions daily and ensuring these are being actioned, liaising with transactional manager if any issues ariseReviewing data for inconsistenciesComplete month end reporting and analysis for the Group Transactional ManagerCarrying out any other ad hoc duties or projects as requiredAs Group Remuneration Assistant You Will NeedStrong experience gained in a relevant Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable role, including hands-on familiarity with reconciliation processes, in a fast-paced, service-driven environmentFinancial services industry experience beneficialA cooperative approach with experience working as part of a teamAnalytical with and great attention to detailOutstanding communication skillsHigh standard and knowledge of Excel, MS Office as well as other office systems like CRMExcellent organisational and multi-tasking abilitiesAccountancy study or qualification beneficialA motivated reliable approach friendly and professional at all timesFlexibility and adaptable to changeRewards And BenefitsBasic salary £25,000 to £28,000 based on experience and qualificationsTo maximise pay/rewards, you must possessalloutlined experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications25 days holiday (rising with length of service) plus bank holidays and birthday day offPension, Life AssuranceFull time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pmOffice based role (Northern outskirts of Newcastle) with flexibility to work from home when appropriate after probationary periodFree parkingPlease note: High levels of interest mean we will only contact you if your application is shortlisted and this will happen within five working days.
