Job Title

Working under the direction of the GP partners and to work as part of a multidisiplianry team, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture, ECGs and simple injections under PSDs. In addition to this, administrative tasks such as stock re-ordering and audits maybe required. Main duties of the jobObtaining Patient consent for the collection of bloods samples. Performing venepuncture in accordance with practice protocols. Maintain accurate patient records on the clinical system. The correct labelling, packing and storing of samples. Ensuring samples are sent to the laboratory in a timely manner. Maintaining an effective liaison with the laboratory staff. Working collaboratively with the clinical team and seeking guidance when necessary for patient related matters. Our team has 3 GP partners, who are supported by our Practice Nurse, Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health Practitioners and a strong admin team, we are also a training practice.
