1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants WMC Recruitment is currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join an amazing team in HandsworthJob OverviewTo provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting.AimsProvide high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of all childrenAdhere to all company policies and procedures at all timesAcquire and maintain positive working partnerships with staff, parents and carersKey ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all company policies and proceduresContribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation StageEnsure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained for key childrenUndertake the role of key person as described in the policyPrepare and supervise activitiesSupervise and support children at all timesEnsure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitorsEnsure that all children are kept safeNotify Designated Officer of any safeguarding concernsMaintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitorsDevelop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carersEnsure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintainedAdhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nurseryWork as part of a team to ensure the companys values are maintainedAttend monthly staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as requiredUndertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line managerSkills RequiredA warm, caring, patient nature.
