Practice Nurse £tbc Farnborough I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivatedPractice Nurseto join a local surgery for 30 hours per week, ideally worked across three long days (Monday to Wednesday). You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused nursing care, supporting both the GPs and the wider health care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse who thrives in a busy primary care setting and is passionate about patient well being.Clinical DutiesBasic wound and ulcer careSuture removalVenepuncture and urinalysisECGs and peak flow readingsBlood pressure monitoringRoutine adult and childhood immunisationsRunning specialist clinics (e.g. Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, INR)Requesting basic pathology tests (e.g. urine cultures, swabs)Working within clinical protocols, escalating to GPs or senior nurses as neededPractice Support DutiesMaintaining and cleaning medical equipmentStock rotation and reordering (including vaccines and cold chain management)Assisting with housekeeping duties in nurse and treatment roomsChaperoning patients during clinical examinationsParticipating in practice administrative systems and accurate record-keepingAttending practice meetings and contributing to team discussionsWhat We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experienceworking as a Practice Nurse in a GP settingConfident in managing routine primary care nursing dutiesRespiratory interest/experience(Asthma/COPD clinics) is highly desirableAbility to work autonomously and within a teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong commitment to patient-centred careInterested in hearing more?
