Triage experience Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to support staff. Resilient, highly motivated and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. An ability to adapt to a new and challenging setting. Basic computer skills.What We Offer In ReturnPart time and full time opportunities are available. Basic salary of £37,338 - £44,962 (pro rata for part time staff) plus A4C shift enhancements. Opportunities to develop knowledge and skills to support career progression.Remote triage within ICC’s is delivered on a 24/7 basis, with post holders being expected to work a variety of shifts which may include full night shifts, Bank Holidays, and other Public Holidays. A variety of shift lengths are profiled across the ICC’s with these ranging from 7.5 hours to 11.5 hours.Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a simulated telephone assessment which will take place over Teams W/C 21st July 2025.Successful candidates from the first stage will then be invited to a F2F interview W/C 28th July 2025.North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport. Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England.
